Sperm Racing is a sporting event designed to promote men’s fertility health by turning microscopic biology into a live competitive experience. Contestants’ sperm race through a simulated reproductive system that mimics real chemical signals and fluid dynamics, using measurable data to determine the winner.

In the Summer of 2025, I had the opportunity to work on Sperm Racing as a freelance Unreal artist. The team reached out with a need to recreate their 3D visuals, transitioning from Blender to Unreal Engine to take advantage of real time rendering capabilities. During my time, I developed multiple procedural textures within UE to visualize sperm under standard microscopy, red and blue highlights, as well as a handful of R&D materials to showcase different microscopy techniques, such as infrared and brightfield.
